HISTORY

The Munro  clan lands lie on the north side of Cromarty Firth, known as Ferindonald or Donald’s land. Famous for writing the earliest piece of pipe music ( Blar bealach nam brog). A peaceful clan and prominent in the Scottish clergy. Other Munro’s settled in Sutherland and the Black Isle.

The Murray of Athol Blue tartan is a blue and green with black and fine red pattern.
